VIRTUAL THERAPY
Rubin Therapy is currently predominantly virtual therapy, using a HIPPA compliant platform for all teletherapy sessions.

Rubin therapists are physically located in Brooklyn, New York, and in Princeton, New Jersey.

We are dedicated and connected to the communities and lifestyles of our clients.
IN-PERSON SESSIONS
For clients of Rubin Therapy in New York, there are a limited number of in-person appointments available at our office located in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
To learn more about in-person sessions, scheduling, and our Covid safety protocol, please contact us with your questions.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU TALK TO A THERAPIST
The psychotherapy process begins with an introductory email and a phone call. In our practice, initial contact takes place with the founder, Emily Rubin. This is an opportunity to share what brings you to therapy and questions you my have.
After listening to you and addressing any questions, Emily will recommend a Rubin Therapy clinician that best matches your therapeutic needs and schedule your first session!

Initial sessions offer a chance to meet your therapist and create goals for your therapeutic journey.

Sessions last 45-55 minutes.
