FOUNDER
Emily holds a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University, and has spent much of her early career working in non-profit community clinics throughout New York City, honing her craft and developing her therapeutic skills. Emily established her private practice in 2018 and has since expanded into the current group practice, Rubin Therapy LCSW, P.C. in 2021. I completed a two-year postgraduate program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP) with a specialization in Family and Couples treatment. My expertise is in working with individuals as they explore topics of dating, relationships, sexuality, family dynamics and life goals while managing depression, anxiety or ADHD. I also work with couples (monogamous and non-monogamous) exploring communication styles, family/future planning, and ethical non-monogamy.
